About Judy
Judy Thomas serves as a strategic advisor to the Coalition for Compassionate Care of California, (CCCC). Prior to retiring, she was the founding CEO at CCCC for 24 years. During her tenure, Ms. Thomas led efforts to bring POLST to California, establish standards for home-based palliative care, develop recommendations on palliative care in nursing homes, and create an advance directive by and for people with developmental disabilities. She also served as a National POLST board member for 10 years, including serving as board president.
